Congratulations to our new duPont Manual Lady Crimsons volleyball teams for the 2013/2014 season!

JV & Varsity will practice Thursday from 4pm-6pm.

Varsity ONLY will practice Friday from 4pm-6pm.

Beginning Monday, July 22nd:
Freshman will practice Monday thru Thursday from 3pm-5pm in the SMALL gym.

JV will practice Monday thru Thursday from 4pm-6pm in the BIG gym.

Varsity will practice Monday thru Friday from 3pm-6pm.

Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors will tryout July 15th-July 17th from 4pm-6pm in the large gym at Manual.
Freshmen will have tryouts July 15th-July 17th from 6pm-8pm in the large gym also.

The gym at Manual will be HOT! Please send water bottles with the girls. Tryouts are closed to parents!

Please have all required paperwork and forms along with the tryout fee turned into Manual’s Athletic Dept. before showing up for tryouts!

Two duPont Manual seniors were selected to KVCA All-State Teams. University of Louisville bound, Maya McClendon earned 1st Team honors and Samford commit, Gabbi Greenwald was selected All State – Honorable Mention.

Manual lost in 5 sets to Male on Wednesday but rebounded with a decided victory over Portland Christian on Thursday.

Lady Crimsons alumni, Deja McClendon will be honored as her jersey will be retired prior to the varsity game vs. Presentation at home tonight. Deja, who graduated in 2010, was a Gatorade State Player of the Year, Miss Kentucky Volleyball, and an Under Armour All American, among other high school accomplishments. She now plays for #3 ranked Penn State where she was NCAA Division I Freshman Player of the Year, AVCA First Team All American and has earned an NCAA National Championship Ring among numerous other accolades.
